Brussels Motor Show 2026: Key Figures of the 102nd Edition

The 102nd edition of the Brussels Motor Show 2026 is currently taking place, from January 9 to 18, 2026. The event brings together manufacturers, premium brands, and the general public for a large-scale automotive exhibition spanning 115,000 m².

With 64 brands present and 415 vehicles on display, the Brussels Motor Show establishes itself as one of Europe’s major automotive events, alongside Paris and Munich. The event is expected to welcome over 300,000 visitors this year, with attendance during the first two days already up +20% compared to 2025, according to the organizers. It is considered the successor to the Geneva Motor Show.

A large-scale exhibition

The exhibition is structured around:

  • 4 halls dedicated to passenger cars and commercial vehicles
  • 1 hall dedicated to motorcycles

A total of 64 brands are represented and 415 vehicles are on display to the public. At the last Lyon Motor Show, 57 brands and 300 new vehicles were exhibited.

A strong presence of electrified vehicles

Among the 415 vehicles on display:

  • 181 are electric cars (43.3%)
  • 99 are hybrid cars (23.8%)

In total, 67.1% of the vehicles on display are electric. This confirms the trend towards ‘all-electric’ vehicles by manufacturers, even though the ban on the sale of combustion engine cars planned for 2035 in Europe has very recently been suspended.
