The 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show opened its doors on April 23 with a record-breaking scale—360,000 sqm of exhibition space, nearly 1,000 global exhibitors from 26 countries, and over 100 world premieres, mostly electric vehicles.
Under the theme “Embracing Innovation, Winning the Future”, the show emphasized electrification and smart technology.
Porsche showcased 18 vehicles, including the new 911 GT3 and the 911 GT3 Touring, which made its China debut. The brand also presented refreshed models of the Cayenne and Macan, highlighting its commitment to performance and innovation.
Mercedes-Benz introduced the Vision V concept, a mobile luxury cinema featuring a 65-inch screen and Dolby surround sound. The electric CLA, boasting an 866 km range and an 800V system, also made its debut, emphasizing the brand’s focus on luxury and sustainability.
BMW unveiled the iX3L, equipped with a panoramic iDrive system and AI co-pilots, offering a glimpse into the brand’s future in autonomous driving. The company also previewed over 10 new models slated for release in China in 2025.
In collaboration with FAW, Audi introduced 5 new models across fuel and EV platforms, all integrated with Huawei’s smart driving system, showcasing a blend of luxury and advanced technology.
Cadillac unveiled a wide array of models, including the LYRIQ-V (its first electric model in the high-performance V series), OPTIQ, VISTIQ, and the electric ESCALADE IQ.
Lincoln launched a new Navigator limited edition, featuring a massive 48-inch 4K screen and a luxurious interior, reinforcing its commitment to comfort and innovation.

BYD led with the Sea Lion 06 SUV, built on its new fifth-generation hybrid technology, alongside four other new models, highlighting its dominance in the EV sector.
Yangwang revealed the U8L, a luxury SUV with a 3250mm wheelbase and 6-seat layout, featuring gold accents and advanced tech.
Hongqi, together with its Jinkuihua sub-brand, presented 23 vehicles from the Tiangong and H-Series lineups, highlighting the strength of its full product portfolio.
Honda debuted the second model GT from its “Ye” EV brand.
Zeekr made the global debut of its first hybrid model, the Zeekr 9X, featuring its next-generation Super Electric Hybrid technology, marking a significant expansion of its product strategy.
NIO Group exhibited 11 models and 12 full-stack technology products across its three brands: NIO, ONVO, and Firefly.
