Lizeo Americas is currently looking to hire a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and be a part of the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence. The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation of new BI projects while supporting existing BI reports and products related, but not limited to, Tableau and QLIKVIEW. Primary responsibilities include elicitation of requirements, documentation, analysis, solution design, and testing. This position works with Pre-sales, Marketing, Customers, and technical staff to translate business needs into BI solutions. Additional responsibilities include ongoing product development and associated production support. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work with global business (EU, US and Asia) to improve efficiency and capacity for data driven decision making.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with business users to understand their needs while looking for opportunities to use Business Intelligence technologies to improve the analysis that make actionable decisions.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications as necessary for necessary systems modifications to satisfy business needs.
• Prototype and provide quick development support for Business users
• Develop full BI solutions
• Deliver on-time and high quality deliverables with an eye on optimal performance and usability
• Understand and monitor the user experience and customer usability trends.
• Provide quality and responsive customer focused service.
• Creation and training of new reports, dashboards, and other reporting products
• Become a subject matter expert of content, processes, and procedures associated with the design of our BI solutions.
• Continue to grow and maintain knowledge by keeping up to date with Industry-led Business Intelligence standards, tools, and best practices.
• Assist in performing user demos of proposed designs.
• Work with the application support team to resolve system issues.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years experience in building enterprise-wide analytic-centric BI solutions.
• Proficient in SQL and working with large datasets
• Experience in one or more leading BI Analytics platforms (preferably Tableau and QLIKVIEW). Ability and willingness to learn new platforms.
• 1-3 years experience eliciting and understanding business requirements, functional and non-functional.
• Comfortable working with international teams and cultures.
• High level of aptitude and attitude to take on new challenges and learn new subject areas.
• Ability to filter through large quantities of data and pull out themes and significant trends
• Ability to work in small company environment and have the flexibility and ability to address subjects outside of the job description
